Sunday Morning Worship
Our Sunday morning worship services reflect two different styles of music, “blended” and "modern" that compliment the day’s theme and sermon.  Our blended worship, CELEBRATION has a combination of traditional and contemporary aspects in the service to reach a wide range of ages and tastes.  Our modern worship, CONNECTION is more casual and relaxed with essentially contemporary songs and visuals.  All worship is led by a worship team and band and we frequently utilize media and video, scripture readings, drama, soloists, and persons of all ages.

Purpose / Mission of the Music & Worship Ministry

The purpose of the Music & Worship ministry is to lead Avalon’s congregation and inspire non-believers with music and singing that (1) encourages worship, praise, and thanksgiving to God and the gift of salvation through His Son, Jesus Christ; and (2) compliments the Senior Minister’s and Elders’ philosophy of ministry and purposes of this church.
